The Fine Food Company established customers of Towability wanted us to commission a new flag ship Fine Chicken Catering Trailer. The Fine Food Company is very well versed in the UK mobile food catering industry, and you have probably seen many of their trailers at major UK events / festival circuit. The experience The Fine Food Company has gained from all its mobile trading has enabled them to request new trailers that simply push all the boundaries.

Pictured below is the original design agreed by The Fine Food Company and provided by Leigh at borndesign.com. As you can see from the drawing dated 13th April 2012, (from blueprints to the finished trailer) we have managed to successfully turn around an extremely highly spec' unit in time for their first event at the Chelsea Flower show.

We are extremely proud of this unit, as it utilises the latest Towability lightweight build technology that has allowed all this to be done under the maximum gross weight of 3,500 Kg.

Byron Burger London - Gourmet Hamburgers - Van Conversion

Unit: Van Conversion Citroen Relay 35 Heavy 3.0 Litre .

Byron Burger through Mobile Techniks asked Towability quite a popular and familiar request, to quite simply make a burger van. As you can imagine this is something we feel quite comfortable doing, however coming from a company that has set up over 20 restaurants in London since 2007 we couldn't rest on our laurels. Even though we treat every conversion and build with a great deal of love, care and attention the task here was to bring the classic "Burger Van" kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Byron's ethos is "To keep serving proper hamburgers the way they should be". With this in mind and teaming up with Byron's design expertise coupled with the latest mobile catering technology we are delighted to showcase the Byron Burger Van.
Fittings: Mainho Chrome Griddle (Euro chrome pc 120), Exterior - Clad in 304 quilted stainless steel. The latest panel technology has also allowed (total vehicle kerb weight of 3,200 kilos). Inside the van boasts a printed vinyl interior and power comes from the very latest compact Honda generator tucked away in its very own compartment.

Costa Coffee - Gourmet Coffee Mobile Catering Trailer

Unit: Towability Supercontinental.
Fittings: The Costa Coffee mobile self service gourmet coffee trailer is based on the Supercontinental. Significantly, the main requirement for the self service coffee machines was a chassis to accommodate for this purpose. This was the main requirement for the installation of 4 self service coffee machines, operational from both sides. This Supercontinental catering trailer also benefited from the optional rayon corner styling.

Jumping Bean - Mexican Burrito Taco Mobile Catering Trailer

Unit: Towability Supercontinental.
Fittings: The traditional mexican meal consisting of a wheat flour tortilla wrap folded around a filling, can now be acheived from the jumping bean mobile catering unit. This is based on the Supercontinental with the low level push out counter that enables the whole serving counter to be extended outwards, inviting the customers in and giving the operator lots more internal space. This supercontinental also benefitted from an extended roof signboard adding significant presence.

Pictured below is the speciality steak house restaurant Cattle Grid Euromarketeer. This is part of the new 2011 Euromarketeer specification.
This also features a tent canopy for maximum visual appeal and also allows eye level counter serving.

Wood Fired Pizza Catering Trailer

Unit: Towability Supercontinental.
Fittings: The authentic taste of traditional wood fired pizza, can now be acheived from a mobile catering unit. This is based on the Supercontinental with the traditional Pizza oven engineered to slide on a rail platform. This was no mean feat considering the overall weight of the oven close to being 1.6 tonnes. This enabled the pizza chefs a lot more working area, while operating. The client wanted to keep the theatre of the pizza preparation in plain view to the customer adding to the whole experience. This supercontinental also benefitted from an extended hatch and laminated wing boards, again adding real depth and grandeur.
